Wow varied nations and uniforms. Quite interesting. The US in raingear will be most welcome and the modern US tankers look great and appropriately ethnically diverse. Again, the Germans have M 1940 jackets and gaiters. That makes a second set like this now. A bit odd. Anyway, a little something for everyone. I wouldn't mind a Free French tank crew though. And I would love to see a generator set - both portable "putt-putts" and towed versions - and compressors too! Fingers crossed! It would make sense after all for a German tank crew to be using the radio when the tank isn't running...a gennie set would be perfect!

Like the USMC tankers at rest. 3 out of the 4 can be used as US Army tankers, just change the head of the one throwing the football. the one with the body armor can not be used as an Army tanker because the body armor are different between Army and USMC.

100% agreed! It’s long overdue to have figures in relaxed poses in just CVC coveralls. Canadian Cougar AVGP crews wore the U.S. CVC coveralls in Somalia and Bosnia in the 1990s.

Im still waiting for their Modern US Army tankers. I contacted MiniArt via FB and they said soon and that was two months ago. I need them for a commission build.

Soviet Tank Crew from the 50s caught my eye and surely the US soldiers in rain gear - specifically the ones wearing ponchos - could be wrestled into more modern figures with say, modifications to the boots, a helmet cover, and a replacement weapon? We were discussing the paucity of decent figures for USAREUR recently on another post, yet these might help a bit until something else comes along.

Love that raingear set. are these WWII era?

The US Infantry wearing the wet weather gear is on my buy list.

Nice looking sets, like the US troops in rain gear especially.

Rain gear is so general that they could be anything if you just switch out the boots and heads.

As they are, they're late World War II -mid 1950s. A bit of putty to blouse over the double buckles and the guys in ponchos are good for up to 1980. I saw the rain coats when I was in, ca. 1987-97 but as a tank crewman I had pickle suit rain gear.

And relaxing guys in nomex? Wow.

Wow, has this company come a long way over just the last five years or so? These new sets look terrific. My wallet is gonna get hammered.

I'm really liking their new stuff. Their Stuka zu Fuss on a trailer looks cool and some nice German Tankers in a Kharkov winter setting, including a couple guys in sheepskin vests.

We had both, Israeli and US made Nomex overalls. Most of us preferred the Israeli one because it was made out of a softer material and suited the body more. The US made one was bulky, no matter what size you took, but it had more pockets.
It was really a matter of personal preference; you could always swap with your fellow tankers in case you didn’t like the one you’ve been issued. Alll crews in my squadron had mixed (Israeli/US) overalls.
Except for the guy in the body armor, which is obviously unsuitable as an IDF tanker, all you need to do is swap the heads for some generic ones and they can be used as IDF tank crewmen. Love the Nomex gloves sticking out of the front pocket, that’s exactly how I used to put them.

These sets look terriffic! I especially like the US soldiers in rain gear... they remind me of the statues of the Korean War Memorial in Washington, D.C.

Wow is all i can say. Remember when Dragon was the leader in dio figures? Seems like a faint memory now. Miniart should have Ron Volstad do their art now that they're clearly leading the way. Good on them.

The GI raingear guys look brilliant ! The germans at rest also,plus they could easily be used as casualties at a front line aid station with very little work.
