I do not see any iconic vehicle missing in plastic nowadays, one with general consensus.

Agreed. Generally speaking, as has been mentioned by a number of our members in different threads, these are excellent times for (armor) modelers as a huge variety of quality kits are readily available for affordable prices.

what about a Nammer APC to go with the Merkava 4 MBT?

Well, Meng just announced a Trophy equipped Mk.4M. Since the Namer HAPC is based on the Mk.4 chassis, plus the fact that Meng has already brought us 2 Achzarits (early/late), 2 D9s (with and w/o slat-armor) and 3 Merkava Mk.3s (early with mine roller/early D/late D LIC), I would say there's a good chance they'll roll out a Namer HAPC too. At least I hope so...

Finally seeing some excellent British WW2 softskins arriving - Matodaor, Scammell Pioneer and Bedford ML, but still awaiting the smaller 15 cwt GP trucks, such as the Morris CS8 or C4

Some afv's that have never been made in styrene by any manufacturer. Can't guarantee they would all sell though

Duplex Drive M4 Sherman
Panzer II ausf. a,b,c (the versions with the six small road wheels)
Matilda I
Char D1/D2
Romanian R1 tankette
Carro Armato M10/39
M84 series

Matilda and M10/39 both sound like possibly OK from a selling point of view, both are interesting looking, if not iconic.

Unkitted tanks AFAIK, again, not exactly big sellers in real life, though all had production runs:
Cadillac Gage Stingray
ARL-44
Vickers MBT / Vijayanta

Ugly ass British trucks YES! More of those. Where do I sign up?
That would be nice. Mirror and LZ (and IBG) have already done some pioneering work in this area so there is hope.
There are a lot of other British softskins but it all depends on if someone with the required cash thinks that kits of these vehicles will be a good investment. Common chassis & cabs with many variants increases the probability but ....

Slightly off-topic, but the 1/35 scale rotary wing market seems to be a little bit underserved. I would love to see some examples from the Kamov (25/26/27) range...

I completely agree and would add the KA-50 and 52's as well as the Mi-28's, but I don't think these raise to the level of 'grail' that the Bergepanther held.
I was VERY hopeful when Academy did the Blackhawks and Trumpeter did the Hind and Hip, but 1/35th helos have fallen off the radar since then.

Kittyhawk took on the AH/MH 6's and can pick off the old OH6A's pretty easily.

So for my REALLY HAVE TO HAVE IT modelling dollars, 1/35th UH-1D, NOT Panda's, not DML's.

The Sheridans are a gap for sure and Academy's newest attempts were not up to the challenge. Those can get redone to fill a huge gap too.

I wonder if 1/35 scale helicopters proved to be relatively unpopular among large scale aircraft builders is because of their 'odd', armor scale...

OK, it's that 165thspc guy again.

He must be about to mention the 7 1/2 ton Mack NO artillery tractor. (Thank goodness he can't gripe about the Bergepanther any more.)

Nuff said.

Lets get the FMTV series up to date finally. M1083 with the modern/present LTAS cab.
Also a M1095 trailer to go with said M1083.

Sad that we cant get the FMTV series up to date after 10 years...

being kinda new back to the hobby, I'm stuck in Tiger, Sherman, Abrams loop for a bit. maybe a few years from now I will be wishing for the less talked about builds. Heck, never even heard of a M4 Tractor till this site. And when it was posted about, desired it right away.

What's really missing, in my opinion, is early WWII French/ Polish soft skins, motorcycles and halftracks in plastic. If I had to pick I'd say the Citroen-Kegresse P19 halftrack would be my "holy grail".

I would love to see 7TP and it's variants produced by one of the major manufacturers.....I think Hobby Boss or Tamiya would do a fantastic job with this subject matter.

Olifant MK1A/1B (AFV Club could do this so easily)
Rooikat
Ratel (the whole family)
Buffel
