Hi fellas. Sharing with you all my WIP T-34/85 by Cyberhobby/Dragon. It's one of DML's older kits reboxed with some additional figures. Just added some pigments to the wheels and fenders. Maybe a bit too much imho. Was trying to go for a look portraying a T-34/85 that managed to reach the outskirts of Berlin and lasted several months without being taken out. Still need to add some soot and engine oil stains as per recommendation of other modellers. Would highly appreciate constructive criticism. Thank you!

I think it would help your build if you 'tightened' up the tracks around the front idler wheel. Secondly, gently yet purposely, apply the natural heavy 'rest' of the upper sections of track by making sure to touch all the bogies. Finally, gently apply the appropriate dip between each bogie. Plenty of photos to lend a hand.

Thanks for the feedback. The tracks are actually supposed to be glued to they wheels already and the front idler already sits tight. I had inadvertently broken the two runs off when handling it for photos. Did not give enough time for the superglue to hold the tracks in place. I've glued them down again.

Just a small update - I've managed to glue down the tracks again and put on the Headlight lens. Here she is now:

Your weathering does look great. While on this subject,I had trouble also with my first Dragon T-34.Some of those tracks can be a bit tricky on them.

Thanks a bunch mate. Yeah, one of the problems with this kit is that I actually shelved it the moment I wrapped around the tracks around the vehicle and left it for about 6 months before going back and finishing it. I wasn't able to guard how well the tracks wrapped around the wheels and sprocket. Plus, the tracks also broke apart after I tried to secure it in place. Going to learn from my mistakes here and (hopefully) do better in future T-34 builds.

I bought 2 of these kits. They are from the Orange box series that come with Dragon Figures...Russian tank riders. The kit itself is a good basic kit...with Magic Tracks. The figures are great!
Looks very good to my eyes, just have to glue those tracks down better.

Thanks mate. Yes, that is the same kit I bought! Quite nice despite the age. I also bought three(!) of the T-34/85 premium with bed spring armor which was oddly enough, the same price as this kit (just a little over 20 USD 4 years ago. Oh how far DML prices have gone up.)
