Hello everyone. I`m new on Armorama and i would like to introduce myself. My name is Tomek, i`m 25, and i come from Poland. As a liitle boy i have been building models with my father, but i stoped for a while ( about 13 years ).Now I`m back to hobby and i wanna build something i have never done before, a tank. For my first (after come back)victim i have chose the Trumpeter kit in 1/35 scale T-90 S modernized or simply MS mod.2013. This tank has been presented in Abu Dhabi on IDEX Show in February 2013. So here is my plan
And this is my starter pack. The Trumpeter kit cat. num. 09524
I have also a nice little thing from Voyager Model, a PTK antenna
Except this, i`m also going to use a plenty of parts from my cousin`s T-90 MS from Tiger Model. I have start it a few days ago, and here is the progres
That`s it for now. I must admit, that is quite difficult kit for somone, who never been doing a tank before. Plenty of parts, some of them so tiny, but i hope i will finish this kit. Iwould like to know what you are think about this mix of Trumpeter and Tiger Model. Is it good idea? Let me know if you like it. To be continued.

For someone just getting back into the hobby - you sure picked one of the more advanced kits out there! These Trumpy T-90s have so much parts that it can get nauseating. Glad yours built up well!

Hi;
Real nice Start on your kit ! I have both kits in my collection and I really liked them both. I like to kit Bash on certain kit's, and its good if your doing A specific version, altho on these two kits it IMHO is not necessary.
Keep Up the Good Work !!!!
CHEERS; MIKE.

Thanks guys for your feedback. Mike, you are right. Maybe mixing Trumpeter and Tiger is not necessarily, but i`m doing it for few simple reasons. First, some parts existing on real tank from 2013, are not provided in Trumpeter`s kit i.e.
look at green circles
headlights
All these parts can be found in Tiger Model kit. The other reason is even mor simple than first one. Som parts from Tiger are simply better than Trumpeter`s. Ok, let me show you what i`ve done. A few pictures

Nice work Tomasz, thanks for pointing out those omissions in the kit, very helpful to those of us not as familiar with that vehicle. Bring on the paint!

Hi guys! I have a little update, after a very long break. I was going to paint this model, and I even start it but my cousin stoped me, because he said, that i need to add some deatils, especially on a turret, so i have added some details:

He also said, than i should do some makeover on the remote control weapon station, so i did
and i should change an exhaust cover for the correct one from Tiger Model kit, there you go
and here is an overall look
Oh, and i forgot to mention, I have changed my mind. I`m not doing an IDEX tank anymore. It will be an EXPO ARMS 2013 version

Sprinklers. There will be another one, right behind the commander's cupola. This one will be for viewfinder on the weapon station.
