I've had a 1976 Airfix QL Portee with 6-pounder gun in the stash for nigh on 20 years. Tonight I looked over it, and even by today's standards, it's a great effort and an interesting subject.
The driver figures, "flimsy" cans and small arms are useless, but replacements are easy to come by and would result in a great build.
The kit was first manufactured by Max Peerless and them taken over by Airfix and later Italeri (minus the gun).
The gun was later offered by Zvezda and it's actually not bad.
I love these kits from "the golden age" - I was 12 when this kit was released by Aifix, and I love that the sprues have "made in England" on them.
Tempted to build this ne up.

I built this kit almost 22 years ago.
It was a nice build, minor fit issues which required some dry fitting and adjustment and the thin struts and supports were fiddly. Apart from minor niggles it was fun to build.
