Hi guys. I am about to finish my trumpeter centauro, all went ok, overcame the challenges presented, until its turn for the PE parts (really hate PE, especially if this small parts needs to be bent and assemble). Struggling at these parts, i accidentally dropped ca on my kit
here are some photos
at my last photo, you can see the damaged part, i tried to scribe to recreate the lost detail, but it does not look good.
I dont want to waste all my effort or stall this kit.
Im thinking of placing a tankers helmet to cover this, but any other suggestion will be much appreciated.

Hi Angelo
When linking pics, be careful to copy the full size picture link, not the thumbnail one, or your pics are too small to see anything.

Doesn't look too bad on that iage byt the CA is difficult to see ,,,
I would try this:
1. Paint over it and check how it looks when painted.
2. If it is OK than the problem is solved, otherwise
3. Take a small flat head screwdriwer and file/grind down the corners of the "blade" to get a scraping tool which fits the dimples in those plates.
4. Slowly and carefully scrape off the CA.
Cover up with a helmet, a coat, some kind of bag/packing,
piece of folded tarpaulin could be an option too .....

I agree with Robin as it can be difficult to see. A might suggest a small trap folded/rolled up and strapped to the plate. You could use a personal pack, rations case or small box. I wouldn't think a tall item (i.e. water cooler) would 'fit' with the space or location but who knows.
One thing to remember is it doesn't matter what you do, you will also remember that spot/s. It's easier said then done but don't focus your project on the one bad spot but all the other good spots. If we are honest most folks won't notice it at all.

From what I can see there Angelo it looks like some dirt will cover it. As already mentioned, dont fret over it too much only you will ever know it's there.

I had to squint real hard at the close-up to even see the CA glue, so my guess is a shot of primer (to take away the shine and match the colours) will make it disappear to anyone not equipped with a microscope! The overall build looks great, so if after paint & weathering you are still not happy, go the simple helmet/coat/rations box route...

It's right next to a crew hatch? Scuff the neck out of it and maybe put a stain there. Someone dribbled something that screwed up the paint job. There could also be a pile of dirt there from where a crewman cleaned his boots before going inside.
All kinds of strange wear and tear on serving vehicles. And then there was the guy who spray painted an ammo box red on the back deck leaving a wonderful red spray outline.

I must be getting old - I can't see it at all! Unless it's on the treadplate section just forward of the circular hatch. CA is difficult to see as it dries clear. Maybe give a shot of primer to see if it's really visible. Give it a light sanding to level it. If it's still annoying, do what everyone does - hide it under stowage, or weathering.

I don't see the damage. Not sure where to even look.
