Haseagawa already has one combined roller on the market and one in my stash. Wonder what the differences are? The loader looks very interesting.

One has rubber tires as rear wheels and a vibrating drum as the front wheel whereas the other has tandem vibrating drum rollers as front and rear wheels and no rubber tires.

I am surprised that the wheel loader comes with a PE cab and no clear windows, not even wire mesh. How is one supposed to see out of the cab? Unless it comes with black window decals, I can imagine that it would be hard for the modeler to paint the cab's "windows" black and symmetrical.

More Shizuoka 2018 photos can be found at "The Modelling News."

Due to the bandwidth and site demand, all the photos may not all download (smoothly). Try again at less peak internet traffic times.

Mitsubishi Type 73

Ask Google about 'Trumpeter Type 73'
Trumpeter has three different versions of this light truck.

The one in the background is probably the JGSDF HMV, High Mobility Vehicle (not HMMWV but verry close):

FineMolds have two versions

I wonder what that diorama is supposed to portray ...
Why is there a Russian/Soviet tank in a setting with JGSDF light vehicles? Some peacekeeping mission?
The signs on the sides of that tunnel entrance look Japanese.
The closest I got on that animal warning sign is this:

Racoon-Dog ?

Looks pretty nice. It should be pretty easy to convert into a proper USN SEAL FAV as this version is not one that was used by the US military.

USN SEAL FAV

Or the original FAV as tested by 9ID in the '80s. This version was not accepted by the US Military.

I'm not exactly sure what you are talking about. The model on display is obviously a mock-up. If you look at the sprue layout in the picture above, it clearly shows windows on a clear sprue, and the cab in yellow plastic.

If you check out the kit sprues, you can see that everything is included for a "normal" cab ( the cab doors parts are on the lower left sprue) Clear parts are included as well (on the lower right sprue) :

I guess the pictured grey model is a kind of master, maybe a (partially) 3D printed one, judging by the visible layers on some parts...

EDIT : looks like Jon has beaten me to it
