WOW!! What a stunning build. The attention to detail is out of this world.
I'm really looking foreward to see some paint on that baby

You can also use a thick layer of white glue.

Hello Luftan,
looks great ! Two details though, the drivers visor doesn't seem to open that wide and the hot air exhaust flaps open & close as a pair. See here http://news.hobby.net.ua/forum/index.php?showtopic=1354#prettyPhoto[AttachedImages]/35/ & here http://news.hobby.net.ua/forum/index.php?showtopic=1354#prettyPhoto[AttachedImages]/21/

Thank you guys

The glass with first taped with clear cellophane tape. This way, the thin glass will stay together even after they shatter. Im worried about the tape degrading over time though...

Thank you for the input!
The protection hatches are not glued in place, so I can easily change their angle to more-realistic position as you suggested.
As for the "they open in pair" part, I dont think I`ll be fixing that. Both trumpeter and Voyager has done lazy research for this area. The whole PE design is flawed. That is part of the reason why I decided to make 1 shut.... so less will be visible.
I started painting the figure I got from Evolution Miniature. It is depicting a Russian RPG gunner with a backpack.
Im waiting for a new paint brush before I proceed to his face, my least favorite part of painting figures!

Thanks Christian!
Finally begun painting the BTR-80. Hairspray chipping to achieve a nicely aged wreck. I will add more tones, and then the fun part begins

Some more progress.
The vehicle is screaming "RED", so I toned it down using some oil and airbrush. The pictures were taken before the fix, so they still look red & shiny.

Absolutely love the style that you have. I'd liken it to someone's signature.
Brilliant finish and brave use of really stark highlights that have all been pulled together nicely.
