Hi all,

i generally use Tamiya paint and i was wonder which would be the best green colour to use to on a Syrian "Shilka" most of which seem to sport the desert sand and green, two tone colour scheme.

i would appreciate a tamiya paint recommendation and i don't mind mixing some standard tamiya paint to get the right tone.

thanks in advance

I can't offer any sage advice because my mind is taken up with images of Charlton Heston shouting, "It's people!! Syrian Green is people!!"

Which time frame are you doing the Shilka? Depending on the time frame you might need to add grey to the camo.

Tamiya XF65 is a good color.

The time frame I am thinking of is here and now, something that has been pressed back into service during the syrian civil war

In that case XF81 could suit you too.
