That looks more like the Larkspur base than a 19 set one. Consistent with the period but a 19 set base isn’t an easy way to get there.

You are correct....the C42 set would have been the radio installed in the Shermans at that time. Lots of options for it in 1/35 from snagging one from existing kits and aftermarket such as Accurate Armour.

STOP THE PRESS!! AA already do a set of Larkspur antenna bases, A188. My feeble brain forgot. That's exactly what you're looking for with no messing about. However, one shortcoming of all the AA antenna base sets is that they don't include the actual antenna clamps - which are very prominent.
