Just saw this one coming up soon:
https://www.scalemates.com/kits/1171293-das-werk-dw35003-faun-l900-incl-sdah-115
That's some thrilling news and the price point is more than convincing (projected at less than 80Euro here in Germany). Being a bit excited right now... Sorry for any crosspostings

Great news!
I can use this new beauty to update the details on my old unbuilt SMA kit
err, wait a minute ... maybe that old SMA resin kit could be used as landfill instead .... hmmmm ......... decisions decisions ...
When I saw it this morning it looked to good to be true, that much resin kit at that price and then I realised that it was a styrene kit Easier to build and all ...
Quite a bit less than 80 Euros actually:

I'm eyeballing it since the news came out.
Have no interrest for L900, but because it has the same engine and bonnet as the Faun ZR, I might end up buying one for conversion...providing The Factory doesn't plan to release it...

According to the Das Werk FB page, both truck and trailer will also be released as separate kits.

Das Werk ??
This name was already used by a spanish resin model brand out of buisness for at least, 7; 8 years, one of their kit was the Unimog S404.
Are they allowed to used the same name ?

If the Spanish company didn't trademark and retain ownership of the name, and the new company isn't trying to fool customers into believing they are connected, then yes.
Think about book, album, and movies: there are many with the same or very similar titles.

Is it just me or does the scale font in the bottom left corner look the same as Takom's font. I wonder if this is a spin off company like Hobby Boss is to trumpeter.

It's not. I checked against a Takom box in my stash.
Not likely anyway since Das Werk is in Germany and Takom is in China, and Trumpeter/Hobby Boss are both in China. I can't think of any Chinese-European spins anywhere in the modeling world.

I think Das Werk is a brand currently owned by Modellbau König.
Some of the previous 1/35 kits are combinations of styrene from Trumpeter + various extras:
Trumpeter + Voyager PE + turned barrel + new decals
Trumpeter + DEF wheels including masks + Voyager PE + exclusive decals
Trumpeter + wood decals by Uschi van der Rosten + Voyager PE
They also have 1/48 Luftwaffe jack stands which look like original plastic.
This looks like original plastic too. I assume that "someone" is doing the injection molding according to CAD designs provided by Das Werk.

That sounds more like a licensing of parts such as when ICM released that old Ostwind in 1/35 using a Tamiya Pz IV chassis with all the Ostwind-specific parts cast by ICM, rather than a partnership.

Do not really care for all this talk of licensing, copying, partnerships and this n that!
Been waiting a long time for this one.
I DON'T CARE - JUST TAKE MY MONEY!

The question about Who is operating the styrene injection machines could be relevant since they do not all attain the same level of quality regarding molding.
I haven't found an answer though .....
I will be ordering one anyway ....

According to the second link I posted it is a cooperation between Customscale ( www.customscale.de ), Uschi van der Rosten ( www.uschivdr.com ), and Faun Germany (who would have great in-depth knowledge about the subject, naturally). So I think it is not so much owned by MBK as rather being an exclusive distribution cooperation with them.
According to Uschi van der Rosten "Das Werk" is a cooperation between them and MBK for distribution. For releasing the Faun they also cooperated with Customscale.
All that said it stays just the same for me: I will so totally get one!
