Hello everybody
Today I am doing in the Russian armor of tomorrow ... indeed if one believes the announcements of the Russian officials, the improvements made to the T-90 make them much superior to the Western machines ...
So no need to equip a gear so powerful but also so expensive ... I speak of course of T-14 Armata.
I assembled the one from Takom, it was the first when I bought it. Now we find Zvezda (very cheap), Trumpeter, Panda Hobby and Revell (which must be Zvezda)
It's a very nice model to climb ...
I started it at an exhibition in Marseille (France) last April.
At the end of the weekend it was almost finished ...
I bought metal tracks, those of the box being too complicated to assemble with one hand. So these Master Club crawlers are easy to assemble, a plastic shaft comes to ensure the junction between each skate.
Then it was time to take out the airbrush ... I was thinking of making a splinter camo, but I made the little player.
It will be green Russian! I used Akhan paintings.
With a little gray green, I cleared some panels.
Then it's pastel turns and other oils to come into play to achieve this ...
Hoping that you liked this montage ...
See you.

Hi;
There are A few T-14s on the market; Takom IMHO being the best of the lot !... Now some will say otherwise; But its just A Matter of which kit you like. Some will say Trumpeter which I have in my stash, but I am Not A fan of there Track's or there PE.
The Gun is A 125mm, which is standard for there MBTs !
And you have done Stellar work on your T-14 Gael and one for the Display Case.
CHEERS; MIKE.

Hi,
it is a very nice-looking model.
I see that the bar armor looks reasonably thin. Are them out of the box? I have the kit of Trumpeter, whose bar armour is considerably too thick.

Great work Gael!
Love the painting and weathering.
Kudos for making such a great model with only one hand.
Cheers
