Hi all
I'm looking for the dimensions of the muzzle velocity radar attached to the gun mantlet.
I'm building the Italeri which misses this feature.

It is a rectangular box 6.4mm wide x 9.4mm tall x 3.0mm thick. Dims taken from AFV Club Paladin M93.

Now that my build is complete, (I didn't want too much detailing on the Italeri base) I would like to know if the .50 MG cradle remains green even on a tan gun.
I have a spare roadwheel and a sprocket ring which I intend to hang on the sides. Should they be painted green too?
Last questions are about the portion of gun just in front of the kind of sleeve which looks glossy black or maybe dark metal. Which could be a good way to replicate this effect?
How long is this portion?
BTW here some pictures of my model.

The model is looking great so far. Good job on the old Italeri kit. It can come out great with a bit of work.
Some answers...
The cradle can be green, black, or tan/sand. It is stored separately from the vehicle and gets repainted as it gets chipped up and worn, etc.
Spare parts come in green and are usually not painted before being installed on the vehicle. Spare roadwheels and sprockets carried on the gun are usually green.
The section is bare metal and is the part that retracts when the gun fires and recoils. There is about 10-12 inches exposed in 1/1. I use either steel or gunmetal paint to replicate this area.

Looking very good so far. That ring on the barrel has eight bolt heads on either side. You may want to include them if you have not already.

One more small point I can see in the photos is that the axe head has a bit of a sink mark in it. You might want to fill and sand that before painting.
