Quite possibly one of the dumbest concepts I have ever seen.

It's not even a paper panzer. If you notice, it has the 'r' designation to show it is a Russian vehicle captured by the Germans but I don't even believe the Russians were seriously considering such a dumb concept.

Bizarre! The mere thought of rolling around in this silly thing makes me vaguely nauseous and the thought that the Soviets invested time & effort into supposedly developing it ludicrous. Nonetheless it is intriguing that someone thought to offer it in kit form!

Why in the H would anyone want to build this ? Looks like something Wile E. Coyote would order from the Acme Company.

It can certainly seem ridiculous ... and it is, but this concept of ball-tank during the 20-30's has been put on paper in many countries, US, UK, Germany and USSR ... the Germans built a similar specimen exposed if I'm not mistaken in Kubinca

It's a great use of imagination. The marking choices offer great variety. It'll sell especially well in Asia as it definitely has an anime feel to it. There have been many what-if/alternative history world war manga and anime including model kits from major Japanese companies like Hasegawa.

I like the analogy. Don't forget, Acme is a subsidiary of Roadrunner Inc.
I was thinking about getting one for the alternate universe theme. It would be perfect for that.

And Now!
The B(ANA)NA 99 Bomber!
An American triumph of aerodynamics and controlled impulse technologies, an engineless, unmanned precision delivery system which would have released its payload over a programmed target before looping back to return to its original launch point in the Nevada Desert. Naturally, in a suitably (sand) yellow scheme, perhaps with brown spots.
A sure winner.

Why do they release this crap? I'll be dead by the time Miniart, Dragon, Bronco, Meng, Takom, Trumpeter, Amusing Hobby, AFV Club or whoever finally releases a 1/35 scale Vomag w/ 88mm Flak gun. I like Paper Panzers but ball tank stuff is just a little too much.

Money?
I have absolutely no interest in the Vomag W/88, but would be pleased to see it kitted none the less.
This is in MiniArts What IF category.

I really do not understand, I'm probably not interested in 70-80% of the new releases but I do not winge about, just move on, like when my son makes a tantrum for something "you get what you get and you do not get upset "or when the older one does " Suck it up Princess ".... I was thinking about buying the first Russian version but given the decals of this I wait, I like Mickey Mouse...

Don't understand the dislike for a product, not your thing just roll on.
I do like kit and the other one miniart did (just a little different). A little off put by the retail price. I picked up a similar design kit from AMG, the BT-102 at better then 1/2 the cost.

I've never been interested in either vehicle.

Already saw one similar to the War Tank on One Wheel on South Park.
