First of all thanks to hellas (Mother-Goose) for all his help, cheers!

Ive uploaded some more pics into my gallery for your perusal.

Hellas suggested adding some tracks to the turret but as I dont have any spare any other suggestions? Wood?

I still need to do some more weathering, mainly on the the tracks/spockets but other than that I think I'm nearly done.

Any comments much appreciated as always.

TIA

Not bad at all ...very well done ..A few things I noticed ...don't forget to paint the periscopes...,Your tow cables on the sides are too silvery for me ..I'd throw on a heavy wash of burnt umber....I'd even out the pastels a bit more as it shows where you first placed them on the kit as blotches...nothing a good soft brush can't take care of...I would add a bit of darkened paint around the end of the flamethrower.. As for the color I find it too dark green ,as by this time of the war scc15 was the base color which is more an olive color..but then again that is only my opinion...Keep up the good work .
If you want to add more weathering ...one thing you see alot of in real pictures is grass and dirt hanging out those half circled holes near the drive sprockets...that would look cool.

all the best

Hey looks good. I would suggest adding some wear to the tow hooks, tool boxes, and hatch lids. Just curious, is the trailer where the fuel for a flame thrower was kept?

yes, I think it has a flame thrower, and just wash that tank because it looks too clean(sounds like nonsense but its not)

At first there is no need to thank for helpin cause it was my pleasure after all the research for My Croco to share what i have found out with a fellow modeller here in Big A.

Now if you wanna add some spare track just pm me your mailing adress and i ll send you a few spare German Panzer tracks to add. Almost all Churchills had these and since i havent seen any wood or other mean of protection i believe that this was the only one to do. Most Churchill had spare tracks almost every where welded from enemy or allied destroyed tanks. So you could do this with a Sherman;s tracks or anything that has been active befores or during Churchill era. So decide and tell me what you wanna do .

Further more i have to agree with whats pre said about washing and dirtying your tank,
Adding a lil bit , the Churchill was an infantry tank and was usually full up in mud dirt grass and anything , so keep this in mind and go on . Dont be afraid , but also dont over do . Study some other peoples pictures and read some weathering techniques , so you want exaggerate on your nice beastie .
I think that your pastel earth work has gone a lil more on the lower turret area than it has on the tank's sides that being lower they have serious more possibilities to be more dirty than the turret which is higher and stepped around from the crew, exposed to air and rain more so meybe less dirtied with earth. I d also suggets that you could put a name on the air intake covers right above the tank's numbers on the sides, cause i havent seen a single Churchill with out name, even if it was hand written They also used many Greek rooted names or words like "PHAETHON" "CYCLOP" "THANATOS" and also other names like "RODNEY" "BEARER" and many more . So take care to fill this also in

Glad to be helpfull and dont hesitate to ask more if you need
