Post WW-II. It is based on the T-54 tank chassis which did not enter service until 1949 and was slowly phased in throughout the '50s. The SU-122-54 was fielded between 1955 and 1957. The boxart depicts the Warsaw Pact invasion of Czechoslovakia in August of 1968.

It is a post war vehicle, the SPG version of the T-54. Was produced around 1950s, only about 80 were made.

If you are planning on making a movie about WWII then it could possibly be pressed into service as a StuG III or JagdPanther.
A couple of plywood sheets and some paint ....
Making a diorama of Hollywood making a mavie about WW II could be an option ....
;)

An interesting beast that answers the question of how to up-gun a T-54 with the limitations of the turret ring.

'Always been interested in this vehicle; does anyone know if a mantlet cover was fitted? The photos I've come across all show it without but I would have thought it might have been necessary.
