Ok, I was not sure if it can be considered as an armored personnel carrier.
So my model will be this one.
I will join the campaign later. Thank you John and nice subject.

I've enlisted.
Thinking of the Tamiya M20 'Armored utility Car' for something different to those listed - it is open topped so I will ask for a ruling on it.
No big issue if not, I have others to choose from like Meng Bradley or Takom FV432 Bulldog.

Howdy Y'all
Since the M8 Greyhound is allowed and my club also has a D-Day contest, I'm in. I'll be building Tamiya's 1/48 Greyhound in 2nd Armored Division markings from the Normandy campaign.
Take care,
Don "Lakota"

Howdy Y'all
This the start photo for my build. I will attempt a 1/48 Tamiya M8 Greyhound as it appeared in Normandy.
I will use an AM barrel and antennae. I'm still undecided about the antennae but will probably go ahead and use them. It just depends how the plastic ones look after I sand the seams.
Take care,
Don "Lakota"

Howdy Y'all
I decided to begin my build with the wheels. Why? I don't know, just because...
My wheels came out with a nasty lip on their backsides. The smaller wheels are from my 2-1/2 ton truck for the "Logistics" campaign.
After I attempted some priming I couldn't stand the unsightly lip and used some putty to even them out a little along with some sanding.
Then I tried more rattle can primer.
Not perfect, but they are better. I'm going to go with them the way they are now. The goobers left from the unsanded putty will be "mud in my tires".
Take care,
Don "Lakota"

I'm in with one of the IDF converted tank carriers... not sure which yet.

Quick question about eligibility for this campaign. I have a Meng GAZ Tiger, that is the Armoured version. I know this may be a stretch and happy either way, but would it qualify for this campaign

Here is my entry
It will be made into something like this pic of a M113A1 on exercise at West Meton Forrest in the late 1960's prior to the fitting of the T50 turret. Note that the cargo hatch has the filter box fitted on it like the Aussie ones plus it has all of the MOT fittings to make it road worthy. Great fun blatting along the gravel road in a 3 vehicle convoy from Burnham Military Camp just south of Christchurch New Zealand.
Oh the memories. That is my mate Tony (deceased) in the cupola. LOL Note overalls a very faded green and wear headphones rather than helmet.
Unit:
1 Squadron Nz Scottish Royal New Zealand Armoured Corps
And the beret. Note the Green diamond behind the anodized badge.
Tony being ex Brit Army, insisted on wearing a kings crown silver variant from a few years back. Mind you he was not alone in this. LOL. The one I was issued in 1966 (anodized) was, shall we say, crap.
And lastly most important this time of year.
If I cannot add to the silence then I should say diddly squat

An afterthought for those that may be interested.
Alas this unit, NZ Scottish is now consigned to history.

My entry to the campaign. Airfix's 1/76 Bren Gun carrier and 6pdr gun.
Needed a quick weekend build to take my mind off of other things i'm working on and this kit seemed to fit the bill. Not going to do anything to fancy just going to build it OOB.
