I'm doing a build review of this kit. Thus far, the only thing that keeps me going is the hope of a great looking build. I have had to rework most of the parts and their workable tracks remind my of Bronco, but friction fit.

Sounds a bit of a damp blanket signal, Matt! Guess I'm going to wait to see more on what you'll have to say before pulling the trigger for this one, then...
I was pretty excited to see it announced, and have been planning to get one since first became aware of it. Cool subject, and good-looking initial pics. Real-life experience with the kit is, of course, the real kicker.

Oh no. As a side note, I built the Trumpeter version and had not issues at all.

Lots of putty and trimming. I'll post of the building, thus far this afternoon. Another note: The tracks are made of nylon. If you break one, there's no fixing it.

There a eight of these and you have to drill the holes, as the pins are too large.
Each panel is sunken.
Just a few of the problems. I'll try to get a comprehensive review of the build to the tracks together. Look for it, in the next couple of days.

I am glad to see your experience with the Trumpeter kit. I had debated between buying the Trumpeter and the RPG kit. In the end I chose to buy the Trumpeter kit.
The RPG kit looked really detailed (hence, harder to build ). I made the right choice (for me ).

I just ordered this kit. I was suprised to see the sunken era tiles, as some pictures of this kit on the internet didn't showed this default. Maybe some some early batches defaults ? Any update regarding the build review ?

Retiredyank hasn't been logged in since mid-April in 2019 so I don't think there will be any further updates to his build review.
