Yes definitely WW2. This was a European Ford, if I remember correctly, and was in many ways similar to the Opel Blitz and its variants. So how is this kit so much better than, say, Dragon's Opel which, as I said, it resembles? Looking forward to a review on this one. I know that it has to be better than the long-of-tooth Italeri offering from years back.

Right, it is Köln produced 1940/41 Ford but it has nothing in common with Opel Blitz, except they both are in the same load class.
I'm not aware of any Dragon Opel Blitz kit in 1/72, are you sure? And the Italeri offering is in fact the old Esci kit from the early 70s so one cannot expect a super quality. In general it isn't that bad for a beginner but the wheels are awful.
