Good morning to everyone

it´s been a while i build my last model. To be honest it took me
seven years to start a new projekt.

The Model is a Panzerkampfwagen 38(t) Ausführung G from HobbyBoss.

I´m building this Kit out of the Box. The only addition i made here are Friul ATL-13 Tracks.

adding just a few scratches with a brush

Basecolor + little highlights and first scratches

Tools are Painted with MiG Colours

added a pinwash with Oils and some rusty/brownish chipping

started to add fuel and oilstains with some oilcolours

also started some fading with Oilcolours

added some Mud and Pigments

added some more pigments to the wheels. Also added effects to the drive sprocket and rear wheel with oils (engine grease)

model is still not finished yet. I need to add some spare Tracks.
Need to add some dust to the markings. Also the rear of the Tank needs work to do.

I will post more progress in the next few days. Feel free to comment my work. I had a lot of trouble to add those Pigments on the right spot.

Yes really excellent wheels/tracks, very close to perfect. However the contrast between that and the upper hull is (in my opinion) too much. I can see you have weathered it with a black-ish pin-wash and a few chips/scrapes but most of the hull plates & turret still look too “clean”. I suggest scraping some brown-ish pastel chalk sticks and lightly brushing the powder onto those surfaces (experiment first!), that’s probably all it needs to balance the upper and lower parts of the tank better. You’ve done a great job, it deserves to be placed in a diorama!

Excellent work! I'm a big fan of early German armor, and yours is inspiring me to get that 38T out of the stash. I would agree though, that a bit more dust on the upper surface areas would be the icing on the cake. I also agree that this would make a stunning dio subject. Thanks for sharing!
