Hi all
here is my Academy M1151 with the Def Model suspension and wheels set.
I added some wiring here and there but I didn't inted to superdetail the kit.
It has been painted with AK122 OIF US vehicles base color and weathered with oils and pigments.
You can read a full article at my site.

Hi Bison!
the DUKE antenna is in bad color. it should be in shades of gray. The BFT antenka also has the same error and no cable. What about the control cable turret and joystick?
The mirrors make it impossible to observe what is happening behind the vehicle

Thanks for the comment. The DUKE antenna is painted Buff.
The BFT antenna (the one in the square box if I'm correct) is the same color as the hull because it was like that on my reference pictures. The cable was at there too in the same series of pics.
Concerning the joystick, I don't know what you are talking about. If you could share some picture it would be great.
What do you mean about the mirrors? Are they at a wrong angle? If so I fear I can't fix it now without breaking the brackets.

Hello Olivier,
I think your model turned out quite nice. I suspect that the "joystick" that Maki is referring to is the turret traverse box. If this is the case, it does have power cables and is mounted wherever the gunner prefers as it has a magnetic base. The positioning of the mirrors is rather subjective as well. It is really dependent upon the view that the gunner wants or that the vehicle commander might specify.
Respectfully,
Allen

Thank you Allen and HP,
I didn't notice that joystick on my reference pictures. I suspect this is the squarish part Academy has you glue inside the hatch.
I just noticed the padding of the hatch is not painted tan. I guess I have to change some more things.
A question about the cable power of the joystick, where does it run to inside the cabin?

Here are a few more views but I'm afraid they won't help much with wiring...
