The Britsh version of a Battle Taxi?
More efficient than taxis. The bus could carry 24 combat equipped (full set of ammo) soldiers.

Knowing Miniart, the civilian passenger bus version can't be far behind so we can finally say goodbye to the ancient Airfix offering.
There are also other interesting variants such as the Carrier Pigeon loft and various trucks based on the same chassis.

Excellent news.
Good to see a British motor on the way and as stated earlier, civvy bus no doubt. Hopefully there will be a few cargo trucks and maybe some German, French and Italian trucks.
Regards Jason

WW1 use information :
http://www.historicroadways.co.uk/ole-bill.html
This one carrying Indian troops hasn't been fitted with planks (yet ?). Glass windows on the lower deck were prone to breakage, mostly from contact with the men's rifles and packs. The glass was therefore removed and replaced by planks nailed to the sides of the vehicle.

MiniArt is producing kits that modelers should want to build just because they are so outstanding and cool.
