Hello guys,
Last week, I purchased a KV-1 from a Trumpeter, 1942 model.
As a little child, cheerful, full of desire for information, I viewed decals and original pictures on the Internet.
And an accident occurred; the decals mysteriously disappeared from the table after the wife was cleaning the house.
No one has any idea where they are, no one saw them, no one found them, we don't have a dog to eat them, they just aren't there.
I turned half of the house in search; gone, missing, nada, niente, 没什么, zero.
Please, please if anyone have this decals from this KV-1 package (#00358)and does not want to put them on their model, let me know.
Regards

Hi, Val.
Sorry, I can't help you with the decals (I'm a softskin guy), but I can understand how you feel. When I get a new kit, I go through it to make sure it's all there. One kit I got -- I was missing the PE fret, and I looked everywhere. So, I took it back to the store, and the store worker started going through the kit, and he found the fret, exactly where it had always been, in the decal pouch!
My point is to say look around one more time. I have given up on parts I KNEW were lost, only to find them the next day, in the same general area. I hope that's the case with your decals! Good luck!

Gary thanks for the advice.
The problem is I've been looking for them for a week now. I searched some places several times. I even suspect for the woman's sabotage; if he didn't clean up work place, he will look for them a little longer.
Great news, I had no idea that Zvezda was putting them in a box.

I feel your pain, but lucky for you that KV-1’s where often seen without any markings. I know this might be a bit boring, but it would not be incorrect to leave them out.

Henrik,
This KV-1 is special in these decals. It is the only russian tank that I know that had anything drawn on its own. Usually Russians have some numbers or some inscription like "For Stalin", "For Homeland" ... and that's not a problem at al, I have numbers and inscriptions in stock. But I just want to do this one, KV-1 "Bezposhadni".

Good to see you got them.
If you're interested, we had a interesting discussion on Tamiya mixes for 4BO on Missing Links. I tried XF-81 and XF-4, with good results.
