Hi All,
Here are some photos of my Tamiya Jumbo Sherman with Aber PE. The texture on the Turret is my first attempt and was done with auto filler.
These were taken just after i had finished spraying it so the lighter colours aren't quite dry.
As always all comments welcome

I think the texture looks pretty good, though it's hard to tell sometimes on pictures. I'm not 100% sure but I believe the added armor on the front glasis plate should also have some texture, though probably not as great as on the turret. You may want to double check your sources on this.

Hi Andy ...Isn't it nice to see so much Olive Drab on this site lately!! You had a good idea to roughen up the casting a bit but it might be a bit over done ..American castings were fairly neet compared to our Russian Allies, but the effect is there and it looks better than the original kit ....Don,t be afraid to lighten the colors more use more of the flat surfaces to lighten the contrast...I light the color at least twice ...but that is my own technique..can't wait to see it finished..keep up the good work. Don't add too much texture on the hull as these were rolled steel and not cast metal.
