We just need to more to be official!!
Speaking of Strykers, it looks like maybe there will be another Stryker variant one of these days!

Now, to an untrained eye in the mystic arts of American armour... Can one of you wheeled gurus explain the differences between a Stryker and a LAV III ? The chassis and running gear and the hull look the same...

The Stryker is derived from the LAV III but has subtle differences, especially based on the variant use. Re-designed hatches were incorporated to assist in hull integrity for one. Some have been upgraded over time and later variants of the Stryker have a V hull, not a flat bottom hull like the LAV III for dealing with IED's.
I'm sure other guys will be able to add much more detail than I can.
Suggestion for the award:

Anyone else got any ideas they’d like to submit?

Thanks for the info Peter, that's a bit clearer now. And the ribbon looks great as well.
I got my Stryker, it's the Trumpey 01574 M1132 Stryker ESV w/LWMR/SOB, should be getting delivered in a few days.

Look what the postman brought today..
...
The contents look very nice .. and lots of them !! Even what I think is a mask for the raised drivers vision block ? (not sure of the right term). Also some MRE cut outs and strapping strips and a decent sprue of PE.
Looking forward to this campaign starting .... Problem is I want to start the Stryker now lol.... Looks like I may need to buy another ...haha

Lol, I think you're right Peter, after looking at the 10 campaigns I have joined this year (7 active and 3 waiting) I have put the Stryker away and will be refocusing on the immediate ones that need to be finished... "Snow White, Build a photo and What if"...
