The first installemt can be seen herewith the interior.
Closed up now, base painted, dark wash and some light dry brushing to raise the detail. Next is to add stowage, filters and final weathering. Figure is by resination "US self-propelled crewman". I had this painted but didn´t like the head .... very plain, so I cut it off and have a hornet head underway. The base is ready for painting. Cheap oval picture frame, filled up with polystyrene trays and ground work made with spackel, white glue and fine sand. All grasses are by Heiki.
I sprayed the tracks with enamel black and it lifted, so I cleaned it off with caustic soda. The tracks shrunk and were a to put on. One is actually the wrong way i gor so frustrated ... therefore no pictures including the tracks. I have heard that sometimes some tracks were placed the wrong way round ... somebody please tell me that this was done??? Pretty please??? If not, nobody will ever see a photograph of them ... well maybe the side with the track properly fitted!!
Al comments and critic are welcome. Dont hold back!!

Joe you made my day!!!!! Ihope you´re not just saying this to see pics and laugh at the tracks!
I have said above, the stowage will be added next. The stowage already placed is the usual way I work, I paint them on the tank. Rolls and bags are painted seperate.

The Sherman tracks were based on a rectangle block and could be used either way. I have seen this before. But if the hellcat tracks were placed back to front, the whole length would have to be placed the same as they are not rectangular in shape.
Wonder if there is a picture with a hellcat like this??
Anyways ... thanks for your comments guys.

Nice M18 Hellcat. Considering you got this kit partially assembled, you have done wonders with it. I would think about a little more weathering on the lower hull and suspension. I think I agree on the crew stowage idea too. Ground work is coming right along as well. I really like the pose on the Resin Nation figure, I need to get one of those
Cheers !
