As requested by the Campaign Leader, DaveCox, there is now an Operation Overlord campaign album. It is located in the Armor/AFV section even though warships and aircraft are allowed in the group build.

SO this is where we'll post our works? How many pictures can a single member put?

Hi Shonen,

At the moment I can't get into the gallery, so bear with us a bit. To avoid clogging the works up too much, I would put one photo in this album, and any others in your own gallery. This will also act as proof of completion for all to see when the campaign ends!

I like this idea. Save the campaign leader time by letting the builder select and manage their best photo. I have added mine. I declare myself Mission Accompished.

It's not so much to save the campaign leader time & effort. More so that anyone who wants to see all the campaign entries in one place can do so. Also it's a good way at the end of the campaign to judge who has met the criteria and will get the ribbon without trawling through loads of inividual posts.

Well, how can I put a pic in the gallery? Please, step by step.
Thanx.

1. Click on this link, Operation Overlord, in my first post.
2. The gallery will then open up.
3. Click on the "Upload Photos" link on the upper right hand side of the page.
4. When the page opens, click on the "Browse" button and look for your photo file in your computer.
5. Repeat above step for each photo you want to upload.
6. Enter a name for your picture and a brief description in the appropriate boxes.
7. Click on the Upload/Submit button at the bottom of the page.
8. New page will appear after a moment of loading with a thumbnail picture. Add the text and captions you wish and then complete the process by clicking the submit button.

Thank you Sabot,

I must urge everybody AGAIN to post one pic of their finished entry in this gallery. Before the finish date I will run one more update post on the forum, after that I will use that post and the gallery entries to form the list of completed entries that will be sent to StaffJim for the ribbon awards.
I have two D-Day veterans that wish to see the finished entries, it would be good to be able to show them all of them!

OMG, so easy, the "Upload menu" was so close and I had not noticed
If it went a snake I would be dead now.
Thanx Sabot.

Great to know about the D-Day vets! Actually, once the campaign is completed, the leader as well as Jim has the ability to award the completion medal. On the campaign page, the leader can click a link and all names of the enlistees appear. You just click the [GIVE AWARD] link next to their name and then the medal goes on their profile page.

I still get this ability on the Operation Barbarossa page this long after the build completion.
