i know this idea has been mentioned in the past, but daves post about VE day inspired me,

what do you think to a campaign for VJ day, it would include all activities against the japanese. ie far east asia and pacific. this means all types of models can be accomodated, armour, figures, ships and aircraft!

it could be called 'against the rising sun' or something?

i would be particularly interested as my grandfather fought in burma against the japanese.

as with the VE day idea, it could end on the 60th anniversary of VJ day (15th august 2005)

what do you think?

I like the idea but not with a title like that. A Pacific campaign idea is supurb idea and I for one may join depending on the timing.

Quite a confrontational title Joe, but a Pacific campain would certainly cover a huge variety of subjects.

Are you talking about any battle in the PTO or just something related to the end of the war? I knew once I decided to start on my LVT during the break between Incoming and Softskin someone will want to create a PTO campaign and I'll need to use my LVT
