Hi all:
Well, I may have mentioned to some of you that I am working on an HO Scale (1/87th) Military Diorama for a project at work. It will be appearing in our upcoming catalog.
Here are a few images of some of the buildings, and a tank that will be shown in the finished piece.
The Signal Tower is from Faller, the Freight House from Vollmer, and the Tiger is from Roco. I assembled the structures per instructions, gave them a nice oil wash, dullcoated the models, then finished them off with some pigments and oil drybrushing.
Let me know what you guys think.
Thanks!
John

Thanks GeneralZod & zero_cool. Glad you like them.
General, I got the 4 number scheme out of my Squadron Panzer Colors book. I specifically picked it because it seemed unusual to me.
zero_cool, you have it right, the tank is from Roco Minitanks. The decals are TL Decals which I think are put out by Trident miniatures.
I'll keep you guys posted as to the finished piece.
The final scene will have a German BR 52 locomotive, 8 various freight cars, Tiger VI, Panzer IV, Sturmgeschutz III, Opel Blitz, Kubelwagen, Sdkfz 7 Half-Track, some Quad 20's, an 88mm w/limber, and a couple Raupenschlepper Osts. Like I mentioned earlier, I don't know how historically accurate it will be to have all those different vehicles in the same place, but the objective is really to show a grouping we are going to be selling together. Anyway, I think it should look pretty neat when it's done. I'll post more later.
Thanks again,
John
