Anyone think that a campaign scheduled to coincide with the 60th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge to be a good idea?

I want to do a white washed Sherman.

Rob,
Not trying to steal your thunder but Shonen posted the same question a couple of weeks ago you must have missed the thread.:-)

there looked like there was a fair bit of interest in a BOB build.

Oh yes! Thanks for reminding me! But all I want is the time for the build. When do you want to start? I've proposed a start this January to April. Agree?

Shonen I think the opening day of the Battle of the Bulge is the perfect launch date. It is close enough to the end of the Move It campaign that it should not interfere. I think the Bulge began December 16.

Personally I would not go beyond 3 months. I would guess that as Feb and March 2005 roll around someone is going to want an Iwo Jima or Okinawa Campaign.

I'd like it to start a bit early, say mid-Nov, just to get some time in before the holidays.
From mid-Nov, 3 months would take you to mid-Feb, or 4 months to mid-March.
I'm slow & would vote for #1 a mid-Nov start and #2 4-months or 3-months in that order.
