I posted some newer production pics of my Hue diorama. I built a new house to put there. The old one was made all out of cork, and it warped because of the plaster and paint. This new one is only cork on the front wall and the side walls are made from wood. Anyway, the pictures are in my member's gallery. I know it isn't done, but if there's anything you think I should add to this scene, or change please let me know. Things are easier to add/change during production. BTW, the new pictures are named "Hue House" and the old cork house is the "Hueprod" pictures.

Looking good. Keep adding those troops. They heavily guarded the tanks in Hue. Adding a couple of B-40 (RPG) armed NVA on, say, the roof wouldn't hurt. Another idea may be to add US troops in the process of clearing out the building with NVA lying in wait in rooms.

I've got the Dragon Tet Offensive Marines set and I'm going to have a M-60 giving cover to a guy coming back with a wounded comrade. I'm also going to have a guy motioning him on towards a medic station type area (that's where the wounded guy against the wall comes in). There's going to be a medic attending to that guy and I got a mechanical mule with some troops on it close by. You count the Patton tank with it's too figures and you got 12 figures that I'm going to have there. I think I might add a VC civilian pointing out where the VC are located, so that'd be 13

wow, good job, keep the figures coming, and maybe bust that building up a bit, looks to clean for Hue! but good so far
maybe you could do the scene from full metal jacket where they are marching down the street singing M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E !! :-)

Well I like the new building Hue better than the old one; looking very promising. Will there be some sort of roof construction eventually?
Maybe a burnt-out car (or a tree) would look great in front of or next to the building.
Keep us posted on your progress!

Well, here's what has been planned. I don't think I'll have a burned out car because I'm going to have an M-48 on the street and a Mule on the side. There will probably not be enough room for a car. Even if I could squeeze it in, it would look too crowded I think. I've though about having a tree on one side of the house (haven't decided which side yet). There will definitely be more debris (rocks, bricks, glass, branches, metal, wood, paper, etc.). I'm just going to add that right before I add the figures and vehicles. I'm going to add trim on the inside of the windows and doors and maybe partly on the outside. I have to add railing to the balconies. Yes, there is going to be a second floor, a ceiling, and a roof (with a small crawlspace b/w the roof and ceiling. I'm also going to try to add some furniture (NEED SUGGESTIONS on where to get some furniture for that era and place). I got 3 more figures to make until I have all the figures and vehicles ready. I'm taking a break right now from the project, so I won't get too bogged down in it and so I can do a few other things I wanted to do, but I'm going to start work on it again very soon. I'll probably wait until it’s entirely done to send more pics
