hey, I finally figured it out and was able to post a picture! This is a big deal for me, not being a techie. Anyway, the photo's not that great, but it's a start. If anyone wants, I can send them some better shots directly.
Meanwhile, what you're looking at is the old Tamiya M60A3 backdated to the M60A1 of the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment at Fort Bliss in El Paso, TX around 1981. A lot of M60s at this time were in various stages of upgrades and this is one from photographs I had of one in the motor pool. Basically, it's the old Tamiya M60A3 with the M60A1 search light, phot etch jerry can racks, miscellaneous stowage, some details added with sheet styrene, cables from a rubber bracelet for threading beads (go to Hobby Lobby and they have all sorts of thickness them for under 2 bucks), and a crew wearing the old olive drab field uniforms, with DML modern heads and helmets added. Hope it looks okay.
