HI all i put 3 pics of my early sherman with the dry burshing
in my photos down at the bottom. of my topic.
i frist did a wash with faded od and i added a liltte
raw amber i let it flow over the whole model .
and in all the nooks and craneies.
then i let it dry for a few days,
then to day i dry brushed it.
i dry brush the whole model
rised and flat parts to me it looks good .
so tell me what u gusy think .
the wahs and dry brushing was done with testors.
paints . iam still learning how to wahs and dry brush

She looks real mate! The drybrushing on the top seems like it had a sun bathe for a long time.

Your a quick study Tazz...sure looks like it weighs a few tons from here...the nooks and cranies effect will really add to the look...doing any scratchbuilding to this? or, is it mainly OOB build?...how much background on the perticular tank did you do?...unit markings etc....keep on posting more pics...this has inspired me to open one of my "early" kits...something to work on while I delay working on the DW and DuKW....thanks Tazz

One suggestion Tazz.. go to Archers website and download and print the template to block out the Sponsoons!

thanks guys,
its the early tamiya kit built out of the box.
it will have a jr barrle on it.
it will have stowage on the front and back.
as far as markings iam not sure yet.
and i have the sherman in action book.
when i get done with it i will post more pics.
i still have to do a little pastels to her.
and get the boggoes on her
