The idea for my dio is a team reloading the stuka zu fuss ( so i had to make nieuw crate myself ). The model is made extreamely used which means the paint on the side is nealy gone due to the rocket now i need critics. shoot

The soldier there is not yet wash so it is shiny

I made theeffect on the side with Thinner to give it a look like used to much

Thanks for the critics

No problemo anytime i notice something

the rubber wheel would be just fine for a regular vehicle but since u mentioned it is "extremely used" my guess is that it should be worned off a bit more

Hm, let's say, a different approach to weathering...

I like what it has done to the tracks and wheels, but I am not all that thrilled about the vehicle body.
It looks like it just came out of a river or something, where it has been for a couple of months. And any half decent crew wouldn't be caught dead with a vehicle looking like that even there is a war on.

But hey, that's just my opinion .

Kris

O yes, nearly forgot, launching those type of grenades left a substantial soot trail, so best apply some black pastels (mig pigments...) on the flanks of the Sdkfz.

I really like this alot, Rima! I think all it needs is what Crossbow suggested and just add a little black pastel where the soot would be around the launchers, and that's it, don't do anything else!
I think the weathering is spot on, especially if you're going to put this into a very muddy Russian "road", the severely worn down paint around the launch baskets is a great idea, it shows that this thing has fired alot of the grenades

I would have to disagree a little bit about the crews not being caught dead in the vehicle, You're traveling down a rainiy muddy Russian road, the thing is going to get dirty real quick, and if the boys are getting fired on, I would think that a clean vehicle is the last thing on their minds! :-) Plus alot of caked on dirt/mud usually just helps the vehicle blend in with the surrounding areas.
Great work!!

This vehicle looks like it is coverd by alga or jelly. You probably vanished it heavily by brush several times. Running gear is ok.

VERY nice job! Hey, is this the Tamiya one? Also, did you scratch-build the interior? I've heard that the Tamiya Stuka Zu Fuss Hanomag has a better interior. Thanks for your time, and once again, great Ground Stuka!

Mud was actaully smeared on tanks and vehicles, in some cases, as a camouflage. So even if the weather wasn´t that heavy, this still could be possible. So even in a peaceful setting, this would be OK!

That's exactly what I was talking about, Plasticbattle! The more concealed the vehicle, the better chance for survival! Even with whitewashes, crews would sometimes just grab a ton of long straw and just smear it all over the vehicle...I don't think they are too concerned in how the appearance looked. I think that this Stuka Zu Fuss looks awesome, but then again, as a personal preference, I go for the severley weathered/beaten up look.
I want more!! what's next?
