Looks good. Does the ESCI kit have the tracks guide teeth molded on them? I kow some of the other small scale kits dont have them. "Q"

Hey Red4, yeah, like alot of ESCI kits there is no detail on the insides of the tracks and the bogie wheels are each one wide wheel instead of a pair of bogies. But under the big MK.2 sideskirts you can't seen any of that.

Looks good to me. The only problem I see is the lighting. The blue light flushes out the original color. I can't see the sand color. :-)

Hi there,
Nice build!! I have a couple of those still in the box. The only problem I have with it is that the road wheels are molded solid rather than split in the middle. Did you modify them? Anyway, the details are really excellent. It would be nice to have some stowage material in the back.
Excellent work,
Wanze

You too! I posted a braille scale Leopard 2A5 alongside it's 1/35th big brother for the Rivet Reviewers and got nothing!
Perhaps it is a slow time of day, or day of the week, that we post which cause the posts to drop to the bottom of the 'new posts' listing, never to be seen? Or is there a lack of interest? I have gotten plenty of viewings, but no replies....hhhmmm.
Anywho--were the pics taken with a digital camera? If so try changing the settings from 'Auto' to 'Outdoor' and see if the colors turn out truer to life.
Otherwise it looks great. Would have thought it a 1/35th kit...

I have the academy 1/35 Mk. II and this 1/72 kit has almost all of the rivet detail there is on it's bigger counterpart!
only thing I will change is the description- the Mk.II entered service shortly after the lebanon war which took place between june '82 and sept. '83.

Good build. You might want to add some fine mesh under the bustle rack. It looks like there's nothing there.

Thanks alot for replys guys. Yeah, the kit has awesome detail for its size, that is why i love 72nd armor. As for the lighting, I think it might have had something to do with the color of my friend's shirt--if that makes any sense...
Here is a bit fresher pic with better lighting
