To those who have responded to this thread - thanks.
For your information, a while back General Zod started a thread in the Armor forum proposing an obscure Sherman build, ie a campaign centering on some of the less common variants of the Sherman. Response to his idea has been pretty good.
Based on Zod's thread, and this one, It seems like a good idea to combine the two Sherman campaign ideas into one, by having a single official Sherman Campaign.
Zod has pm'd me, and proposes to run the combined Sherman Campaign with some help from a couple of his buds.
Zod aka Chad, will probably post a thread announcing consolidation of the two Sherman Campaign proposals into a single Campaign shortly. I'm sure he will also finalize start/end dates, and define any other parameters he deems necessary.
