Peter ...don,t forget you are going to be able to see the inside of that empty M4A3 hull ...Might be better to use the Jackson interior with mods of course on your main project. Bummer eh!
I was hoping that this build would start sooner because i just started sanding the bogies on my M4A2 mid for a Tarawa Sherman ...I have to finish it for the month of October ...(special theme for the show in Halifax) So I can't wait for this one but I still have a mid M4A1 sitting off to the side that I can build for this campaign ...Hey there's a firefly not too far away too ... Oh there's a 105 M4A3 too...What an M50 ? Lots of stuff to build for this campaign...I can't wait !.
This will be my first campaign ..sounds like fun!

OMG The Proposed name for this Campaign is hilarious.

Chad was asking for suggestions as to what to name the campaign. I suggested the famous captured German officer's quote: "One of our tanks is better than 10 of yours, but you always have 11."

Would be fun to build a Sherman, but lets face it they are kinda boring in their overall OD paint, but if someone can some me some colorful one I might change my mind...

North African desert schemes (both US or UK) ended up with some pink, tan, and multi camouflaged patterns. Korean War ones had huge colorful tiger faces painted on front slopes. Israeli ones are in a multitude of shades of sand/tan. US ETO tanks can be seen in whitewash. US PTO tanks wore a variety of camouflage patterns as they participated in the island hopping campaigns.

I dare say that the Sherman wore more schemes than the PzKpfw IV did.

A lot of the ETO Shermans have black over OD spray on them too but because the pictures are B&W with a lots of shadows, mud, dirt plus the tank is cluttered up with loads of stowage you just can't see it. Many times I can't even tell unless the cation says it's black on OD

Generalzod, you gonna get on Guntruck to make this official? Only 2 weeks until your proposed start date
