Ciao everyone,
I was generously given permission to submit my cart to the "Move it" campaign. It is a classical Sicilian Cart that I scratchbuilt in honor of my wife. Thanks for your time. Comments are welcome.
Ciao for now
Rob

Well, that's something you don't see on Armorama too often. Looks great. Did you draw the pictures on the sides? They look fantastic.

I agree with what Paul has said and would also like to know about the pictures on the sides.

Buongiorno, Rob! Bellissimo! See, I told you people would go nutty over your murales! You really need to scan those puppies & convert 'em to decals so you can sell 'em. Send me your scale drawings of the cart, I'll bang a few out in resin, and you can include the murale decals in the kit! Whaddaya say?
I love the sublte shading & weathering you did. Really gives it life. License plate is classic!

Hate to sound like a broken record - but I think this looks great too! Really something different, unusual, and very nicely done!
Is it a real "woody"? And expand on the painting and decoration. Cool stuff!

Ciao everyone,
Thanks for the props!!
Paul - I just painted them on the sides. In close up, they aren't so great. But they all depict important parts of Sicilian History (one is the acceptance of prisoners by King Roger the Norman, the other is the entrance of Roger into Palermo. The two panels of the knights are Accolaccio and Rinaldo, two of the Norman knights who ejected the Moors from Sicily.
LogansDad - I appreciate the compliment, but I don't think it would be a big seller.
GunTruck - yes, I scratchbuilt it from wood (but the wheels are resin (and I can't remember the manufacturer.))
Again, thanks for all the compliments. I just need to put it in a dio.

I didn't think there was going to be any problems qualifying since a horse drawn wheeled cart was one of the eligible types, unless you were concerned there there is no horse with it.

Well, Rob I think you underestimate your abilities, after all you've got at least 5000 potential customers on this site alone. But it's up to you...in any case do you think you might be able to email me your scale drawings so I can make one of these lovelies? Won't be in your league but it looks like fun. My address is on my profile page. TIA

Ciao RobH,
I had some drawings, but I have no idea where I put them. When my organizer comes home (oops, I mean my wife), I will find out where I (she) put them, and try to get them to you.
Ciao for now
