Well it's finaly finnished took me nearly 2 weeks and i really enjoyed every minute.it was painted with tamiya acrylics weathered with oils and pastel chalks.The tracks are from accurate armour and so are the tarpaulines,the figure is from ultra cast and a dream to make.hope you like it as it was my first sherman and it wont be my last.cheers all

There, don't you feel better for making something that doesn't look like a brick on wheels?
No criticism of the tank itself, but the bricks look a bit too dark, maybe just a drybrush with a dust colour is all that's needed. I do like the way the dust on the tank matches the groundwork and bricks.

Good job!! I wish my first dio had looked so good! On the next one, you might think of making it a little bit more dirty and weathered.

May I share a thought, however?
The tank commander is in pretty heavy gear when you seem to be depicting a June of '44/Caen event. I don't think the tankers would have worn the "pixie suits" just yet given the time of year.
