Dave
Very great model of that variant Now I have never seen many pics of that type,so if my questions seem stupid I apologize
Is that a dummy gun and gun mantlet? On the pic it looks like the gun mantlet sits out too far
Also,I noticed the hull mg and headlights are missing from that side On the real version were they like that? Or are you showing battle damage?
Overall a fantastic job How was the Alby kit to work with

It's great to see another Not OOTB Shermie. It may have been a little boring to have all OOTB Shermies with a few PE pieces for the entire Campaign
Here is my non-OOTB Shermie

Overall a fantastic job How was the Alby kit to work with
The Alby kit was good to work with - all parts came away from the carrier & cleaned up easily, and fitted well. The headlight & machine gun barrel broke off in final assembly and were lost in the carpet - I don't have any spares in 1/72 scale so I'm gonna call it a damaged headlight and mg removed for maintenance!!
The gun mantlet is fitted as per the kit, but by the time the vehicle is finished it was too late to change it - the mounting pin needs to be removed and the mantlet glued straight to the front of the turret. The mantlet is also a little oversize in overall dimensions
