That looks like a very interesting kit. You might want to sand off the knock out pin marks from the bottom of the engine access plate. This would add to the realism. You have done a really good job bringing out the detail of the transmission. The personal equipment looks pretty good too!

I believe the kit is from Italeri, I just sold one two weeks ago.
The thing looks good, keep up the good work

Thanks for the kind words.
ITs a Italrie, but the problem with the kit is that it had some very bad peices in it so i have to get some sytrene sheets and redo some of it
Thanks for the kind words again

Hi Max
Looking good so far. Have a look at Ronald Kok's exceptional site (or click on the photo below from his website) on recovery vehicles:

He has built numerous Berge-panthers, you are sure to see something that will help you as well.

Since we are on the topic can someone show or tell me how to make a blow torch tank?
( Tank as in the stuff that holds the gas not a flamethrower tank )

Looking good so far Max. The detail is well brought out on the engine and transmission. Dont know if these were metal in colour or painted the same internal colour as the rest of the interior. Something you might want to check out! I know the winch system is supposed to be very lacking ... Ronald and a few others Ive seen, have built the whole thing up with the parts given and scratching. If you dont use PE, try to get one of the mini/zoom sets that just do grill covers. This adds so much to the rear hull. Without them they look almost silly. I built Italeri´s panther D a few years ago, and i didnt add any grill covers ...and I regret it since! Good luck with the rest of the build!

My comment is the flesh of the figure. It's very dark. It could be the photo though, tough to get good photos.

Right now the figure isnt realyl dark its mostly because of the lighting.
Im waiting for the Grille covers to show up but no luck yet ( 1 week in the waiting )
Thanks for the comments. Is there a certain color the winch is?

Max,
Italeri makes a "Field Tool Shop" kit that has a bunch of stuff that you could use to dress up your Berg. I don't think you can get one locally. Ordering it online is probably your best bet.
Picture below.
The model looks great so far. Can't wait to see it finished.

Hi Max ...I hate to be the one to tell you this but the Italeri interior is just so bogus it is unbelievable... The worst of it is that they gave a Panther a steering wheel!!! Sorry only the tiger and King tigers had steering wheels. No such think in the panther series .
