Hi Guys...
I realize I made a mistake with the add-onn turret armor, but I see no way to repair it, so I just leave it as it is!
The first coat of paint is on, and now she's ready for weathering and drybrushing.
Note: I still have to do the spare-tracks on the back!
Lemme know what y'all think....John.

Can you please post, underneath detail pics on the sandbags? I don't have an idea on how I'm going to do mine. Was it just a long strip of metal/wood?

I take it it is the Trakz set for the sandbags? i am thinking of getting this set too. Do you know if it fits Italeris marines sherman hull?

Hi Guyz...
I cannot understand entirely why you think these lenses are so special; they're simply painted with Humbrol gloss nmbr. 15, and when completely dried covered with a drop of high-gloss varnish....
That's all there's to it!! John.

For the sandbags I've used a base coat of Tamiya XF-49 ( enamel), and drybrushed this with Humbrol matt 93, and Humbrol matt 117. AFTER the drybrushing, I did a "pinpoint" wash (only in the seams of the bags) with Raw Umber oil....

This build appears to be coming out very nice! I like what I see at this stage - thanks for sharing. Nothing that I'd want to critique yet other than suggesting that varying the tones (not too drastically) of the sandbags randomly would make them visually more appealing. They still look nice as you have them though...

@ Alan....
Yes Alan the fit was very good, it just needed some sanding! I only had to use two bits of Milliput to correct two small gaps at the right headlight, but that was nothing to worrie about!
