Whodini,
I like it. Good detail and painting.
I think that their Unterfeldwebel would tell them (in no kind terms) to get their weapons out of the dirt.

Howdy Whodini,
Looking good. Glad to see another deserving entry make an early arrival!
Not only did you build an entry, but you expanded it into a nice vignette. I like the sense of 'action' you created.

I like that little piece of camouflage at the end of the barrel. Breaks up the lines nicely

Very nice & the vignette is simple but very expressive of action & motion.
Two thoughts:
-- soldiers are taught not to lay their weapons in the dirt, but if they must then not on the (usually) right side where the bolt, operating rod, shell eject, etc are.
-- the empty shell casings might be cast a bit further back -- they look to be under foot for the guy on the right ...

excellent points jRatz........I missed the weapon in the dirt.
...tsk,,,tsk, tsk........
You tried that in the 'Corp, and you'd be using some type of expectorant to 'git it out!'

gee, i never thought about the weapons... i'll reposition them tonight
i myself also thought the spent shell casings should've been put further back...i'll change that too!
it is still pretty good for me, considering i'm only 13 years old!
