Hey there,
i wanted to show you my latest Model.
I started the build almost one year ago, but was never in the mood to get the last things done on it.
It´s Revells Demag D7.
A really nice kit, not as good as DML or Tamiya, but you can make a small beauty out of it.
One of the biggest problems on that kit are the tracks, they consist of link and length tracks (just like the ones on Tamiya´s 250). As they aren´t very detailled (and i didn´t want to buy some Aftermarket-tracks), i choose to dirt them up with putty and fine sand.
Parts i used:
Demag D7 - Revell,
PE - Eduard-Set and some pieces from ABER,
some scratchbuilding with plasticsheet, wire, aso,
some pieces from Tamiya and DML.
I will finish the modell as one of the 17. Pz.Gren.Div. "Götz von Berlichingen" which were defending the last bridge over the rhine here in my hometown Germersheim.
Ok, on to the pics:
If you see anything that is wrong or needs to be overworked, please let me know .
Thanks in advance!
Markus

Markus,
Nice looking build. The dashboard looks good as well as the extra bolt rivet details you've added. I notice that the track and wheels on the left side look like they're coming up off of the ground a bit. That may just be because the kit's warped just slightly in which case it would be hard to fix. Good job, though. Let us see more once you paint and weather it.
