It always amazes me at the details you can see on these tiny models ..Good job on that camo scheme and the zimmerit looks darn goos for this scale ..You should paint the padding on the inside of the commanders hatch ..either a leather or black color .. The german crosses on the turret were not used by the 12 SS ,but I have a line drawing of a Panzer IV from the 9 SS Hohenstaufen division ...No turret numbers and just the crosses ... They saw their first action an the 28th of June in the Caen area.

Hi RAF-MAD,
Great build! The zimmerit application looks good. Weathering is a little heavy but I guess it saw action extensively. I love the belted ammunition on the MG. Was it custom-made or an aftermarket detail?
One thing though, you could have thinned the "shurzen" armour a little. It looks a little too thick for the scale. The camou line work got a little heavy on the turret top. All in all..... good build, dude!!

Thx guys I havent really got the weathering thing yet still finding the right balence. As fo the "shurzen" armour i realized it was a bit thick when it was to late. But next time i shall know, learn as i go. The ammo belt is part of the PART (from poland) Detail set. I think i might remove the crosses they dont look right i can see the clear film around them, i dont think they applied well to the zimmermit.
thx for your input guys
