I'm not for sure where this should fall, so I figured I'd just start here!

I was doing some reading and noticed a lot of people have complaints that modeling companies have been spending too much time making and remaking the same German vehicles, while not near as much effort has been put into Allied stuff. Personally, if I have a choice, more than likely, I'm going to pick the Geramn vehicle (or whatever) simply because I have more painting options. Camo is a great thing! :-)

So my point this, what if we put together a group build(?) dealing strictly with Allied camo of WWII? Every vehicle would have to be camoed, no solid OD stuff here!

Any option for figures? Marines and few Army units in Europe wore camo as well, as did British Airborne...

Sounds like fun ..there are lots of really nice camo's out there for allied vehicles ...I have done one in a while now ..I might be up for another one since I have an M4A1 DV coming in the mail this week !! Here a picture of the last one I did a few years ago...

It was also the first thing I showed here on Armorama..Memories!!

Right on guys! I'll give'r a shot. If I make any mistakes, be sure to point them out!

I'd like to be able to include as many "areas" as possible, so everyone could join in. But for the life of me I can't figure out a way to include the sci-fi guys (and gals). So for subject matter, we could use anything, as long as it came from WWII and is Allied.

Figures could concentrate on clothing and equipment, Ships on the various ship patterns (I forget the term used), Dois could reflect how the various patterns work together or work with the natural surroundings, ect.

The educational bonus will be showcasing the different techniques used to create various types of camoflage effects on different types of equipment, clothing ect.
