here is DML's Sdkfz 250 Nue in progress and due to finished and on the table at AMPS East this Saturday the 25th.

It's a sweet little kit. I'd heard the roof to hull to rear plate join was tricky and to glue the rear plate to the roof. Might have worked for some, but not for me.
Yes that is a HUGE Tenax thumbprint on the rear hull..

To the Inteiror I added the MP40, the light AA mg tripod from the Tamiya 251D kit.
I added the power wire from the dash to the radio using the diagram from AFV Inteirors. The angle of the pics makes it look like it is sticking out, but in actuality it hangs down. I'm going to do a headset with coiled lead on the radio operators seat.
The vision blocks are painted black, then a coat of clear blue. the interior fire extinguisher could have been red and it adds a dash of visual interest (not in these pics)

I still have a shifter to add there in the open hole in the drivers pic.

Those are Eduard etched screens on the air intakes.

The lighting makes it look like the interior is painted a different color from the exterior, it's not. Also the exhaust area is painted the same color as the exterior. Weird tricks of the light.

The tracks are WWII Production click together, VERY nice! and yes there is an edge to a roadwheel I need to paint, in addition to the pads on the front sprocket..

why am I typing when I need to get back to work?
see ya!

I would go, but I'm going paintballing and white water rafting that weekend.

Nice 250, I can't see anything wrong with it!

I got the minor boo-boos corrected and actually built the rest of the fiddly bits over the last couple of nights.
REsprayed the basecoat, redid the washes , and added Archer transfer balkencruz, some accessories (grenade boxes and Panzerfausts) and am ready to seal the whole shebang up and dust some pastels.

Should be all ready for tomorrow morning.

Parts and Grumpy..
I'll be the tall guy with the glasses and the SF3D T-shirt. I look nothing like my avatar, how will I recognize youse guys?

See ya there,

Yeah, I'll be shooting some pics, but film not digicam, so it might be a couple days before I get them up.

Into the home stretch, the kit is secured to the base , the accessories are positioned, the dullcoating is drying.
I just need to paint the convoy light, reflector and rearview, the tool handles and add the map draped across the front edge of the hood and I'm done!

With 10 hours to spare!
(he types inviting disaster...)

Just saw a base edge that needs touching up.
They're never really done, are they?
