Heres my OPFOR M60A3 built out of the 1/72 scale M60A3 kit From Revell of Germany. Awesome little kit. I made the tires out of some Magic sculpt (they repestent a vechicle outfitted with a mine roller for ID for BLUFOR) and some small chain. I scratch built the Hoffman device out of some small round plastic. I'm missing alot of detail like the MILES belts and the kill light on it, but I didn't to get too anal with it since I wanted a model to bring to AMPS East and get one finished for the first time in nearly a year and half. I'm not that happy with the way the photos came out since the lighting destroyed the sublte weathering effects as you can/cannot see.

Looks great!
Had any problems building the kit or did everything fit nicely?
I like the chain and the tires!

Good looking A3. Only nit pic I have for ya' is the Hoffman looks a little under sized, but that is pretty minor. I like the rollers as well. Not something you see everyday. The newer 1/72 scale stuff hitting the streets is amazing. I snag up new pieces any chance I get. Build some more! :-) "Q"

The kit falls together, I would say its an easier build then a 1/35 scale M60.

I got a brozne at AMPS EAST in Advanced, so I'm pretty happy with the results. The other odd thing is that photos look better on my CRT at work then they do on my LCD display at home, since the LCD can't do true 32bit color.

Looks good Scott. I bought a couple of the Revell A3s. Someone tried to convince me that it is the Esci kit reboxed, but I've got many of those so I know better.

Yours does look good. I've been considering building one OOB and another using the best bits out of it and the Esci kit.

I was surprised that they didn't give the bits and pieces to make an A1OOB.

You also need a whoopie light which is a yellow strobe light for the top, it lets everyone know that the tank is "destroyed." I don't have any pics with me, but also they have Tank sized MILES gear for the sides of the turret.

Nice!
