This isn't an active recruitment, just an idea for comment and future consideration. How about a "Crossover" build? Participants would have to build something that they have never done, or that's differant from what they normally build (armor people doing aircraft, shipbuilders doing Sci-Fi, etc.). Figures could be included, but would not count as entries by themselves, cause most people have done figures at one time or another. Entries could be any scale, OTB or as detailed as you want, and wouldn't necessarily have to be on a dio. Also, it might be a fun way to get a better understanding of each others particular modeling interests.

I think that would be a outstanding idea and a great, refreshing "change of pace". Since many have done armor, aircraft, ships, etc. before, it might work to make it the category that we've done the least or has been the longest since you've done one if someone has "done it all". Love the idea and think you should go with it. Hope to hear more,

Tread, Ive rather prefer a cash contribution. That kneeling is so pre-2000.
And monuments are so much nicer when other people build them for you.
Nah seriously, Ive built cars, tanks, figures, planes, dios, vignettes, ships, sci-fi, horror, nude and some more figures so Im really looking for a challenge or new ideas. Perhaps a sailing kit could be considered a new genre, at least larger scale. Ive have had my eyes on Revells Santa Maria and Zvedas Brieme.
