Howdy all,
Since the other Campaign's are both well under way, and well represented here at the big 'A', and since this Campaign is still getting some 'legs' under it, I thought I'd begin a thread where interested parties (and even some 'kinda' interested parties ) could throw some ideas out onto the table to help those who are thinking about getting involved.
Now both the submitted suggestions, and the submitter's themselves do not necessarily have to join up with the Campaign. This is just a 'clearinghouse' for ideas, both common, and obscure. So please, feel free to toss your Recovery / Engineering vehicle, diorama, vignette, figure, etc idea into the 'pool'........
Just to prime the pump, here's an extraordinary vehicle that would require the talents of a 'Roo, or maybe an animal to tackle......
This vehicle is called an Aardvark. It is a mineclearing vehicle used by SFOR in Bosnia in 1998

Jiminy Jillickers, Gordo! What the heck is it based on? Looks like some sort of front-wheel-drive armored tractor Got a walkaround of it? w/a comprehensive set of pics & a donor kit, this one looks way too "Oddball" for me to pass up!

:-) Howdy Robert,
I have no idea what the vehicle is based on, I just stumbled across it during my ref-surfing and thought it would make a good 'tease', never really wanted anyone to build it.
I would hate for you to try to tackle this one, and then get mad at me for luring you into the madness.... :-)
I'm sure they'll be other's will probably be more suitable for one's sanity.......but, it's up to you. Maybe somebody else could see some donor kit potentials in this thing.......

Howdy jRatz, (everytime I type your name I think of William Holden's character...)
Thx for the link...interesting info.
What I'm trying to say with this thread is that there are sooooooo many nifty examples of vehicles that people can build. With just a little thought, one can turn a simple kit into a MUCH cooler project.

Thanks for the link, since all I got to see was the dreaded red X
but after seeing the site, that thing was on the Telly the other day, History Channel if I recall correctly, but can't remember what show. but it showed it working and the crew talking about how wonderful it is. Worked and acted like the old Sherman Crab.
